Gori: Cuddly Carnage Launches on PC and Consoles

Publisher Wired Productions and developer Angry Demon Studio have released their ultra-violent hack-and-skate third-person platforming title, Gori: Cuddly Carnage, on PC and consoles.

Featuring bold visuals and over the top arcade action, Gori: Cuddly Carnage is ready to claw its way to being a breakout indie hit. Loaded with cat humor and puns, players travel to a futuristic neon covered earn overrun by killer toys. The fate of the planet resides in the paws of Gori, a cute and very deadly ginger cat, and F.R.A.N.K., a sentient bladed hoverboard that Gori travels on. Keeping them company on their journey is the always depressed CH1-P.

We’re excited to announce that our cat on a hoverboard is ready to hit the streets—Gori: Cuddly Carnage is launching today across all major platforms! Imagine if a Death Metal band ran their tour bus into a toy store—that’s the chaotic, colourful, and adrenaline-pumping experience we’ve crafted. Our team has poured our hearts into creating this game which blends fast-paced hoverboarding action with intense combat in a world that’s as wild as it is fun. We hope you enjoy playing Gori as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it. Thank you for your support!

John Kalderon, co-founder of Angry Demon Studio

All sorts of nightmarish creations such as killer unicorns and terrifying jack-in-the-boxes stand in Gori’s way. Together, Gori and company will grind rails and rip mutated toys to shreds with bloody lethal combos. Unlock new skills and then try them out while setting new high scores and beating level times.

For those who are squeamish, there is a setting to toggle all the blood and gore off, turning the blood to a purple juice that comes out of the deadly unicorns. Nintendo players in Japan, China, and South Korea will experience this alternative by default so that the game can be played by any and all on their Switch.

The Angry Demons have really nailed it, Gori: Cuddly Carnage is a true acid-fueled-action-packed-fun game. Five years of indie passion and high energy has gone into this kitty, and we’re so proud that we get to help get it into the hands of every fan to play. It’s a total trip and a true gem of an experience.
