Publisher Firesquid and Dutch developer Abbey Games have released Reus 2, the god-like civilization building game. After 11 years, the adored indie god game Reus returns with a sequel featuring similar giant godlike creatures that can shape worlds.
Take control of a roster of 6 powerful giants. Each has their own unique abilities over the world through means of plants, animals, and minerals. These godlike giants each have their own associated biomes such as rainforest, taiga, and ocean. Shape worlds and create ecosystems full of resources using a combination of three giants to terraform a variety of biomes.
Enable human civilizations to form and thrive. Choices made when shaping the world will determine the fates of the fragile humans. Actions will guide and inspire humanity. Depending on the player’s strategy and style, leaders, inventions, buildings, development choices, and much more may be created laying the foundation for a flourishing human civilization.
Players will be able to do civilizational experiments by creating various worlds for different human spirits. Experiment and discover different combinations of flora, fauna, and materials to create the best synergies. This creates an opportunity for players to fill the universe with life. Can the right conditions be created allowing for human civilization to rise to great heights?
