Publisher Hooded Horse and indie developer 3DIVISION have announced the 1.0 release date for Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic. The complex Cold War city-building and economic sim will exit Early Access on June 20, 2024, via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.
After a five-year journey in Early Access, the 1.0 release date for Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is now less than a month away. During the Early Access development period the game has seen a lot of success. On Steam the game currently has over 14,600 reviews with a 92% “Very Positive” rating.
With the release comes the 1.0 update. In this update players will find new buildings that enrich the lives of citizens such as the amphitheater and large stadium. Additional playgrounds for the youth help them maintain their health. A revamped education system will aid in maximizing the potential reach of teachers.
New Western vehicles help expand the nation’s transit network. Improved factory connection nodes allow for better flow of resources across the various complex production chains. Several key buildings, such as the electronics components factory, woodcutting post, sawmill, and panels factory, have had graphical improvements.
Other changes in the release update include numerous quality of life fixes and HUD tweaks. Currently the game is localized from English into French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Ukrainian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Simplified Chinese. In the release Bulgarian, Czech, Slovak, Turkish, and Traditional Chinese will also be supported.
In January of this year, Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic Update #13 was released that introduced campaign mode. Since then the developer has released numerous smaller that have further moved the game towards the June full release.

The version 1.0 release date for Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is set for June 20, 2024. In addition to Steam and Humble Bundle, the game will also be available on GOG and the Epic Games Store.
Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is currently available in Early Access on Windows PC via Humble Bundle and Steam for $39.99 / £34.99 / €39.99. The game’s soundtrack is also available for $4.99 and a Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic – Help for Ukraine DLC is available for $4.99.
