V Publishing and developer Bad Ridge Games have released a Farm Trailer for their upcoming medieval fantasy life adventure sim, Mirthwood. Released for Steam Farming Fest, the narrated trailer shows the possibilities of what one’s farm may become.
It’s the farm life for thee. The new Mirthwood Farm Trailer showcases the various farming and homestead building systems in the open-world game. Besides just tilling and planting, players can grow and harvest a variety of crops.
Care for a diverse selection of animals on the homestead. Examples include Guernsey Cows, Horses, Bulls, and Toggenburg Goats. Visit town and purchase different creatures from animal traders. Build shelter and fencing for the different animals. As the seasons change, accommodations will need to be met to ensure the survival of the homestead animals. However if food is scarce, one can opt to butcher the animals.
Take the harvested and collected animal products to craft artisan goods. Cook a variety of food items from a list of recipes that includes Honeyed Apples, Custard, and Sweet Tarts.
Construct the dream homestead. The game features a versatile building mode with freeform, grid, and snap options. This allows players to place objects where they want and create a homestead exactly as they envisioned.
At only two and half minutes, the Mirthwood Farm Trailer sows a lot of information about the farming and homestead building systems. The trailer is available for viewing below and on the V Publishing YouTube channel.
This past March a Mirthwood RPG trailer was released that featured a narrated gameplay overview of the open-world life sim. Questing, looting, exploration, reputation, and character progression are some of the game systems and elements covered for the immersive medieval fantasy life experience.
Mirthwood Availability
Mirthwood has a planned release date for Q3 2024, and will launch on PC via Steam. PC players can add the game to their Steam wishlists now. No pricing information or console release details are available at this time.
