The Magical Mixture Mill Headed for March V1.0 Release

Indie publishing label HOOK and Denmark-based developer Glowlight have announced that their unconventional automated potion brewing game, The Magical Mixture Mill, is heading for a V1.0 launch this coming March.

The full PC launch comes after nearly a year of Early Access development. Since the April 2023 Early Access release, The Magical Mixture Mill has gathered just shy of 200 reviews with a “Very Positive” rating for 83% of all reviews. During the Early Access phase the game has seen a series of updates and features, including changes and additions based on community and fan feedback.

With the V1.0 release, players can expect to see a wealth of new mystical content in the colorful single player game. New class origins, workstations, new customer quests, and a main quest conclusion are just some of the new content additions coming in the full launch release. Several quality-of-life updates will also be contained in the release.

Gameplay is centered around Griselda’s Magical Mixtures. This potion shop is the go-to store for traveler and hero concoction needs. From mighty strength or intelligence enhancers to the less heroic needs, this shop will have any patron covered.

Griselda herself is an elderly mushroom-loving witch. She runs her business with great dedication. Time however, has taken its toll on Griselda and now she must train her replacement. As a former adventurer, this is where players step in to fill this roll and assume responsibility for running the shop and learning the tradecraft.

A goblin assistant is available to aid in the construction of automated production lines to supply all the local heroes with their potion needs. To supply the workstations, players will need to explore diverse biomes, gather exotic ingredients, learn new mixing recipes, and endure the challenges that Griselda will present players all the while ensuring that the shop is restored to its former glory.

The Magical Mixture Mill V1.0 release will full launch for PC on March 27, 2024. Currently The Magical Mixture Mill is available in Early Access on Humble Bundle and Steam for $19.99.
