Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew Demo Announced

Mimimi Games have announced that their upcoming stealth strategy game, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew will have a playable demo at Steam Next Fest.

In the demo, the first act of the game will be available. This act is roughly two to four hours of gameplay time, depending on a player’s experience in the genre and playstyle. The demo also includes the game intro and various missions on two islands. Players will also visit the ghost ship, the Red Marley, which acts as a hub between missions.

Gameplay is set in an alternate Golden Age of Piracy in the Lost Caribbean. Players embark on the hunt for a mysterious treasure from the legendary Captain Mordechai. Their base of operations is the Red Marley, a ship with a living soul and cursed crew of pirates.

Each crewmate has their own unique supernatural power. Last March, Mimimi Games introduced several of the cursed crewmates in the Characters Trailer. The list includes Afia the ships lethal navigator, Gaëlle with their magical cannon, Mr. Mercury the jokester with his pet fish companion Sir Reginald, and ship cook and ninja assassin Toya of Iga.

A playable demo for Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew will be available during Steam Next Fest that runs from June 19 to June 26.

Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew is coming to PC via Steam and Epic Games Store as well as Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 in 2023. Where available, players can add the game to their wishlists.
