Midnight Ghost Hunt Update 6 Host Migration, Tunnel of Love and Sale

Coffee Stain Publishing and Vaulted Sky Games released Update 6 for their ghost-filled multiplayer hide-and-seek prop game, Midnight Ghost Hunt. This update adds a Host Migration feature, Valentine’s Day décor, Tunnel of Love addition, and Steam sale.

Host migration has arrived in Midnight Ghost Hunt. What this means is when a host leaves a match, the game pauses for the remaining players while a new host is selected and migrates all players to connect to the new host. Afterwards the game then resumes right where it was paused. The host migration feature is still being fully implemented so there is a possibility that players may run into some issues. This is also a great time to remind players that the game is still in Early Access development.

New Valentine’s Day décor and props have arrived. The Cursed Cupid prop can flap around and shoot arrows at hunters. Giddy giggles will fill the air when a target is hit. Hunters who are looking for a Valentine should avoid the Chocolate Heart Box. Even more so if the prop is possessed as it can pack a powerfully sweet bite.

The Carnival map is seeing a new addition with the previously closed-off Tunnel of Love now accessible. With appropriate decorations including swan boats this ride has everything one would expect to find in a Tunnel of Love. In addition, Carnival has seen a lighting pass. Mr. Giggle’s Happyland should feel more menacing than before.

Some quality of life improvements have made their way into Midnight Ghost Hunt Update 6. Progression UI changes now allow players to more easily keep track of when they are hitting a new tier. After matches, players are now presented with a visual timeline of when they will be reaching the next progression tier on their journey. Currently the game is having a Valentine’s Day sale on Steam with a 50% discount. The sale runs from February 14, 2023 until February 24, 2023. This discount makes the game a great gift for a friend or partner who would enjoy having a haunting good time.

Midnight Ghost Hunt is available in Early Access for Windows PC via Humble Bundle and Steam for $19.99.
