Startup Company Console Edition Launches on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch

2Awesome Studio has released Startup Company Console Edition, the business sandbox simulation game, on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox.

Previously in April, 2020, Startup Company fully launched PC after being in Early Access for nearly three years. Developed by Hovgaard Games, the business sim is being ported to consoles and published by 2Awesome Studio. Since the game’s PC launch, over 400,000 entrepreneurs have taken up the call of starting their own business in the game.

All of the features seen in the PC version, plus new UI/UX features suited to gamepads are included in this console edition.

Gameplay is centered around being the CEO of a small startup website. Players can choose what their website will be about such as a social media hub, streaming service, or dating app. To build the best website, only the best employees will do. Of course having employees means they will need an office space.

Competitors are always looking to get the upper hand. One way is to entice employees from their competitors. To counter this, players will want to maintain a strong workplace happiness rating.

As the website grows and attracts more traffic, it will need to be hosted on more powerful servers. From virtual servers to a fully featured hosting center are all options to aid in the website’s continued expansion into a tech powerhouse.

Startup Company Console Edition is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox for $12.99. The Xbox and Switch owners can enjoy a limited time 10% launch discount. A PC version of Startup Company is available from Humble Bundle and Steam for $12.99. Visit the game’s product pages for more information.
