Coffee Stain Publishing and Vaulted Sky Games have released Update 4, The Thanksgiving Update for their ghost-filled multiplayer hide-and-seek prop game, Midnight Ghost Hunt. This update adds Thanksgiving Decorations, new props, camcorders, boomboxes, and two new soundtrack songs.
Thanksgiving has arrived in the world of Midnight Ghost Hunt. A range of festive new hero props and decorations have arrived. Both the van and the maps have all of the festive Thanksgiving frills and thrills to get both Hunters and Ghosts in the proper holiday mood.
For ghosts there is the deliciously tasty new turkey Hero Prop. This fully animated seasonal entrée will scare Hunters and just in case they need a helping of desert there are pumpkin pies to throw in their faces too. Headshots will affect a Hunter’s field of view for a limited time.
Hunters have access to a new gadget, the Camcorder. This device can be deployed to watch over a given area and any Ghosts tagged by the Camcorder will be visible to Hunters for 10 seconds. Ghosts, however, can possess the Camcorder and move it around, having their own fun with the gadget.
The Boombox has arrived. This new fun feature is a retro-style Boombox, allowing all of the best Coffee Stain game music to be played in game. Satisfactory fans will be familiar with the FICSIT device. Music can be collected and unlocked across the various maps. For Hunters the Boombox can be found in the van and Ghosts can possess the Boombox and play their favorite tunes.
