Catizens Demo Available for DreamHack Beyond Digital Event

HeroCraft PC and indie developer Bad Optics Games are participating in the DreamHack Beyond with a demo for Catizens. Players can dive into the demo and manage a cat kingdom settlement of cuddly and fluffy kitties.

The DreamHack Beyond Indie Showcase started on October 14 and will run until October 23, 2022. Starting on October 17 and lasting until October 23, the Catizens demo will be available on Steam for players to check out and play. Previously the game’s demo was made available during this past September’s Game Devs of Color Expo, this past August’s Tiny Teams event, and last June’s Steam Next Fest event. Catizens released into Early Access this past August.

Taking inspiration from RimWorld and The Sims, Catizens puts players at the helm of cat colony simulation. Unique cats with quirky personalities inhabit the colony. A variety of professions are available for residents. The unexplored wilderness is full of valuable resources and dangerous threats. With careful guidance, players can help these furry felines establish their settlement, develop relationships, and save the kingdom from outside threats.

Catizens is now available in Early Access on Windows and Mac via Humble Bundle and Steam for $17.77. For more information visit the game’s website at catizens.net.
