Team17 and developer Stormind Games have announced a release date for their upcoming story-driven action RPG, Batora: Lost Haven. A PC demo is available on Steam until September 19, during the Tokyo Game Show event.
Starting on October 20, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S players will be able to dive into the interplanetary action of this RPG. A range of unique alien worlds are ready for exploration. Quickly players will discover that in this galaxy, the lines between right and wrong is very thin and morals are blurred.
Avril, an unlikely hero, has a unique set of abilities that harness the dual powers of Sun and Moon. Players can perfect her combat styles and defeat dangerous enemies. Combat is fast-paced and multi-layered. Both the body and mind will need to be utilized in the frenetic battles against the various amazing and deadly foes.
Choices will decide the fate of the universe and those who live in it. Multiple endings are possible with the branching story as actions have consequences. The world is filled with retro sci-fi art styling reminiscent of 1950s. From intricate puzzles to quests from alien inhabitants there is always something happening along Avril’s journey to restore her lost haven.
Batora: Lost Haven has an October 20, 2022, release date set for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. A Nintendo Switch version will follow.
