Team17 and developer OverBorder Studio have released their punishing dark fantasy action-RPG Thymesia on PC and consoles. Death and defeat await players on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch via Cloud Streaming.
Once thriving, the Kingdom of Hermes has fallen victim to disease and gruesome enemies. As Corvus, a half human, half raven hybrid, is now the one remaining hope for humanity. Players will guide Corvus through the streets and piece together his shattered memories to save the world.
The world is both sinister and gloomy in play and appearance. Corrupted by plague, all the enemies are mutated monsters who are both twisted and extremely hostile.
An complex plague weapon system accompanies the unforgiving fast-paced combat. Facing off against grotesquely difficult enemies, players are challenged to master the use of plague weapons whose powers are taken from the diseased citizens of the Kingdom. Only by combining impressive attacks, perfect deflection, and agile avoidance will players overcome the brutal obstacles that lie before Corvus.
