Independent game developer Tactical Adventures announced today that their team-based tactical fantasy cRPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister is now available on Xbox Game Pass. The award-winning title allows Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S players to crossplay with PC players.
An epic team adventure awaits. Xbox players now can discover the secrets of the shattered world of Solasta. From exploring ancient ruins to stopping an age-old cataclysm, players can climb, jump, or fly around obstacles and position themselves in the most advantageous spot for battle.
Players are free to create their own party-based adventures via the Character Creation Tool. The Xbox version is also making the community created dungeons available for console players to download for free. These dungeons are created using Solasta’s Dungeon Maker PC tool and uploaded to Mod.io.
Besides the Solasta: Crown of the Magister‘s base game being available on Xbox, all of the previously released DLCs are now available on the Xbox Store as additional purchases. This includes the Primal Calling DLC that features a new Half-Orc ancestry, Barbarian Class, Druid Class, and an original two-hour long “Wanderer” quest. The Lost Valley DLC campaign adds an entirely new story arc that runs parallel to the original campaign and offers more than 20 hours of play. If players want to play DLC multiplayer content, only the host needs to own the DLC content and all other users will be able to play the DLC content for free.
The cRPG is a true tabletop adventure that uses the Dungeons & Dragons SRD 5.1 content and rules. Granted by Wizards of the Coast, Tactical Adventures utilizes a license for Solasta: Crown of the Magister making the game a faithful adaptation of the tabletop ruleset.
Solasta: Crown of the Magister is available on Windows PC through Humble Bundle, Steam or GOG for $39.99. A Supporter Edition that includes the base game plus an environmental art pack, weapon art pack, badlands art pack, and additional dice with special FX is available on Humble Bundle and Steam for $49.98. The Supporter Pack is also available as a DLC for those who own the base game and can be purchased on Humble Bundle and Steam for $9.99. Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S console players may purchase Solasta: Crown of the Magister from the Microsoft Store for $39.99 or get the game as a part of the Xbox Game Pass.
