Chinese developer 24 Entertainment and NetEase Games have announced that their battle royale game, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, is now available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Game Pass. The hugely popular Far East inspired title now commands an impressive tally of 10 million copies sold since the game’s August 2021 release.
Everything, including the UI and gameplay, has been fully optimized. The Xbox version is supported by Dolby and Dolby Atmos, providing players with an immersive audio experience.
To celebrate the Xbox launch release of the game, all players will have access to the brand new weapon: The Dual Blades. This is the first double handed weapon in the game and allows players to deliver damaging striking blows at a high rate of speed and unstoppable movement with multiple-hit combinations. The Dual Blades can be seen in action in the NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Dual Blades showcase video on YouTube.
Cross play with PC is available at launch and is optional. Xbox players can opt to play with the 10 million PC players.
In addition to celebrate the 10 million copies sold milestone, all players were sent earlier this month a part of the family tree. The Divine Root spear can now be claimed via in-game mail.
Lastly with the Xbox release also comes the return of the game’s zombie mode, Omni’s Nightmare. The return brings a list of major updates. Players can pick two skills from a random selection of three before entering each game. Plus players will now pick a side before the match starts which will increase the likelihood of being on the chosen side. A new gameplay trailer for Omni’s Nightmare is available on YouTube.
NARAKA: BLADEPOINT is available on Windows PC through Steam for $19.99. A Deluxe Edition and an Asura Edition are available at $34.99 each, while an Ultimate Edition is available for $49.99. All three editions are also available as paid DLC for existing owners of game.
