Chivalry 2 Midsommar Event Adds New Brawl Mode Map

Canadian independent game developer Torn Banner Studios is welcoming players to the fields of Aberfell for the Chivalry 2 Midsommar Event. The limited time special event adds a brand new weapons-free Brawl Mode map to the violent first-person multiplayer medieval battle title.

With support of its publishers, Tripwire Presents and Deep Silver, Torn Banner Studios has been able to deliver numerous and significant content updates to Chivalry 2. Since the game’s 2021 release, the growing community has seen the introduction of mounted combat and cavalry charges, a new faction, new maps, game modes, weapons, quality of life updates, a console server browser, weaponized bees, and much more.

Starting on June 23, the Chivalry 2 Midsommar Event will be live. During the limited time event players can launch the game and click to join the Midsommar Brawl servers. While traditional weapons such as swords and axes are not available, players can use their fists, chairs, beehives, caskets, and anything else they can pick-up for the all-out brawl including a severed arm.

Three new carryables: Midsommar Pole, Wood Hammer, and Flower Vase have been added as new Brawl Mode weapons. Two new seasonal helmets have appeared in the update; a Bear Mask and a Flower Crown. New environmental objects have been added. Straw Figures and Totems Poles now can be seen in the world along with an interactable Mini Catapult. The Midsommar Event is available on all platforms including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
