Redout 2 Steers into Release

Saber Interactive and developer 34BigThings have released Redout 2 on Windows PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The supercharged title is a sequel to the 2016 anti-gravity racer Redout.

Zoom around the track at blazing-fast speeds in excess of 1,000 km/h. Anyone can pickup and play the intuitive driving system, however, the game is truly rewarding for those who master super-high skill ceiling.

Hundreds of events across 36 unique racetracks are available in the extensive career mode. All of the tracks are also reversible. Arena Races, Time Attacks, Last Man Standing, and Boss Races are some of the challenges that await drivers.

Intense online multiplayer challenges players to be the best. Fresh challenges with regularly added content and seasons featuring bonus rewards await players. There are 12 distinct chassis players can pick as they customize their hovership. Stabilizers, propulsors, rudders, intercoolers, flaps, magnets, wings, spoilers, rocket engines, and paints are just some of the customization options.

As players blast around the racetrack they can jam out to a futuristic soundtrack. From leading electronic artists such as Giorgio Moroder to recognizable talents such as Zardonic and Dance with the Dead, the games music is seamlessly and dynamically mixed based on real-time race data.

Three releases are available for the game on PC and two for consoles. Redout 2 Standard Edition is the base game. A Deluxe Edition of the game is available that includes the base game plus the Season Pass which features two future DLC packs with new locations, career events, and rewards all at a discounted rate. PC players can also purchase the Redout 2 Ultimate Edition which includes all content from the Deluxe Edition plus a digital download of the Redout 2 soundtrack that features 42 original tracks and nine licensed tracks, offer over three ours of electronic music. The Standard Edition is priced at $29.99, Deluxe Edition $44.99, and Ultimate Edition is $49.99.

Redout 2 is available on Windows PC via Humble Bundle, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Console versions are available for the PS4 and PS5 from the PlayStation Store, and the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S from Microsoft. Nintendo Switch release is expected to launch in July.
