Players can soon pre-order Jim Power: The Lost Dimension from Strictly Limited Games in partnership with QUByte and PIKO Interactive. Vaprak is back and once more Jim Power must travel to the virtual world and stop this evil monster.
Coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch are re-releases of the 1990’s cult classic Jim Power: The Lost Dimension. In addition a limited number of retro cartridges of the game compatible with SNES, SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive, which was cancelled and never released, and NES, which is a newly developed and compatible version of the game.
Gameplay is centered around Jim Power and the evil alien Vaprak who is threatening to destroy Earth. This is the last planet that stands between Vaprak and its entry into the 5th dimension. If Vaprak succeeds, his species will flood the galaxy and all will be lost. It is up to Jim Power to dive back into action and slay the evil threatening not only Earth, but the galaxy as a whole.
The Limited Edition is limited to 2,000 copies for Nintendo Switch and 1,000 copies for PS4. This edition includes a colorful game manual and is priced at $34.99/29.99€.
The Special Limited Edition is limited 1,000 copies for Nintendo Switch and 500 copies for PS4 for $54.99/49.99€. This edition includes additional collectibles: Special Limited Edition Box, reversible cover, original soundtrack on 2 CDs, anaglyphic 3D Glasses, double-sided artwork poster, Jim Power replica flyer, lenticular card, sticker, and colorful game manual.
Retro editions for Jim Power: The Lost Dimension will be available for pre-order as well. A cartridge compatible with SNES based on the digital enhanced re-release of the SNES version will be limited to 149 PAL and 222 NTSC versions. Limited to 333 units is a cartridge compatible NES version with the newly developed version of Jim Power. Also limited to 333 units is the cartridge compatible SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive version coming with the never officially released Genesis version of Jim Power. Each of the retro versions will be available for $54.99/49.99€.
A Jim Power Bundle will be available for the ultimate Jim Power retro experience. This bundle includes all three retro cartridges, an exclusive soundtrack, an art card, and a poster. This very special edition is extremely limited to 33 PAL and 66 NTSC versions and is available for $154.99/149.99€.
To pre-order Jim Power: The Lost Dimension visit the Strictly Limited Games‘ website. Pre-orders begin on Sunday, May 29, at 12 AM CEDT, which converts to 3 PM PDT, Saturday, May 28, 2022. Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, SNES, NES, and SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive versions will be available to pre-order at that time.
