Polish indie developer DreamWay Games has opened sign-ups for the upcoming Espresso Tycoon playtest slated for later this month. Players who are accepted into this playtest will have the opportunity to play a demo version of the game.
This playtest allows DreamWay Games to gather important feedback from playtesters. Using this feedback the developer intends to make improvements to the game ahead of Steam Next Fest in February. During this multi-day celebration of upcoming games, Espresso Tycoon‘s demo will be available for players to enjoy.
The game itself is a hardcore economic game that is based on mechanics seen in old-school tycoon games. With contemporary features such as beautiful modern graphics or a highly developed 3D coffee editor, the game challenges players to discover what is necessary for one to run a successful coffee business. Decorating the coffee shop, managing employees, designing the menu, setting prices, handling the supply chain, maintaining a budget, and problem-solving are a handful of the tasks awaiting those who desire to run a profitable coffee shop.
Focusing on realism, beautiful graphics, and deep gameplay, players can expect a challenging tycoon and business management experience. Starting from scratch players will need to select a location to launch their tiny coffee business and then build it into a massive empire.
Espresso Tycoon is a Windows PC game that will be released on Steam in late 2022. Sign-ups for the Espresso Tycoon playtest are available on the game’s Steam page. More information can be found by visiting the game’s page on the developer’s website here.
