Indie developer GFX47 released their new top-down tactical game No Plan B in early access for PC on Steam. In this tactical title there is no room for error as mistakes are often fatal.
Every choice, both big or small, matters. Decide the fate of an entire squad through every decision. Players will need to assemble their team and select their gear. From there players take on roguelike campaigns, standalone challenges, and community-made maps with randomly generated enemies and four playable factions.
An innovative timeline system allows players to perfect their plan and then watch it play out in real-time. With this knowledge players will want to plan, preview, and proceed. A wide range of firearms, grenades, and armor is available to gear the team. Each piece of equipment offers its own pro and cons making it critical for players to select the right gear for the situation.
Be a hero or a villain. There are different missions with different goals such as a hostage rescue or a bank heist. Campaigns offer brutal long runs with units and resource management while stand-alone missions offer short but intense gameplay.
With community-made maps the gameplay possibilities are infinite. Players can also create their own maps and missions using their own built-in mission editor and then let the community play their new challenge.
No Plan B is available in early access on Windows PC through Steam for $14.99 USD. The No Plan B Soundtrack is priced at $6.99 USD. A Steam bundle for the game and soundtrack is available. To celebrate the early access launch a 10% off special promotion runs until December 8, 2021. For more information follow @NoPlanBGame on Twitter or visit noplanbgame.com.
