Indie game developer EP Games released their candy themed multiplayer party game A Gummy’s Life on PlayStation and Xbox. Today’s release allows players to play online with Crossplay matchmaking on every platform including the previously released Nintendo Switch and PC versions.
The multiplayer brawler features fights based on physics where death by sweets is a very real thing. A wide range of gummies, some that require unlocking, are available for players to brawl with. Each battle brawl is wacky as the previous and the next in a winner takes all.
A variety of game modes allow players to prove they are the best at all things gummy with classic Hot Potato, King of the Hill, Team Deathmatch, and Free-For-All. Billed as an easy to play, hard to master brawler, players will either be bashing their way to victory or using strategic strikes landing an all too sweet knockout blow.
Up to eight players can join in on the fun in online and locally. A range of cosmetic hats and glasses will keep one’s gummy stylish as the death fight takes place on 19 different maps. In the end victory might be sweet, but revenge is sweeter.
A Gummy’s Life is available now on PS4 and PS5 from the PlayStation Store and the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S from Microsoft for $19.99 USD. Previously the game was released on Nintendo Switch and on PC for Windows, Linux and Mac through Steam for $19.99 USD.
