Torn Banner Studios with support from publisher Tripwire Presents and global retail publisher Deep Silver released Chivalry 2 on PC and consoles. Inspired by epic medieval movie battles, Chivalry 2 is a multiplayer first person slasher of legendary proportions that is not for the faint of heart or children.
Continuing the legacy of the genre-defining multiplayer hit Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, Chivalry 2 brings a true sequel to the ultimate medieval battlefield experience. Every fight takes place on a 64 player battlefield that includes all the sights and sounds one would expect from a medieval battle. From clashing swords to storms of flaming arrows, players will be blown away by the non-stop action.
Players can become a knight and create their own legend by dominating the battlefield. The range of roles to fill is vast from a heroic warrior to a blood-soaked murderer. As one lays siege to castles their catapults will shred the earth and burn villages down. Peasants who get in the way are effectively cattle waiting to be slaughtered on the grand Team Objective maps.
Only by mastering the blade with its weighty and physical combat will one survive the battlefield. Chivalry 2 offers a faster and more fluid combat system than the previous game. Players can now perfect their playstyle with a range of creative choices. However, in the end, survival is everything and are players will need to ask themselves if they are willing to do what it takes to be victorious on the battlefield.
Chivalry 2 is available on Humble Bundle or the Epic Games Store for $39.99 USD. The game on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S are also available for $39.99 USD. A Chivalry 2 Special Edition that includes exclusive in-game content is also available for $49.99 USD.
