Indie game developer Goonswarm has announced the return of their roguelike RPG, Sin Slayers: Reign of the 8th, to Steam with a load of new content and enhancements. The developer is committed to compensate all players who bought the original game, Sin Slayers, with a free game key for the new and improved version.
With the game’s return to Steam, players can expect to see a wealth of new content. There are eight brand new regions, complete with enemies, loot, and own Sinlord. Gameflow has been revamped and rebalanced. Numerous optimizations and improvements allow for faster game startups and overall smoother gameplay.
Dive into a gritty RPG world shrouded in darkness and full of monstrous challenges. Choices will decide one’s fate. Balance the risks and rewards of the Sinometer while influencing the game’s difficulty and rewards. No playthrough is the same with procedurally generated dungeons and challenges.

Sin Slayers: Reign of the 8th Availability
Sin Slayers: Reign of the 8th has a release date planned for Q4 2024 on Steam. A release date for console versions will be announced later in 2024. Steam users can wishlist and play a brand new demo now on the platform.
The original Sin Slayers is available on PC via Humble Bundle and GOG, and digitally on consoles for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S from their respective stores for $19.99.
