Toplitz Productions and developer Family Devs announced that the open-ended country-life farming sim Harvest Days is heading to Early Access next week. The Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing inspired farming sim and RPG gives players an opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Featuring low-poly graphics and a sandbox environment, players can relax and grow their crops on their own little piece of land. After taking over a small forgotten farm, the game lets players become one with nature by managing animals, tending their garden, harvesting crops, gathering resources, trading products, fishing, and exploring the open world via horseback.
In the local community, players can help expand it and build up the surroundings. Interesting new neighbors are ready for a quick chat. One might even make a new friend or two. Buy, sell, and trade products in the community and invest profits back into the farm.
Plenty of decorations allow players to express themselves in their in-game home. With hard work and wise business management players can grow their farm while being surrounded by untouched nature. Complete creative freedom gives players a chance to build their dream farm.
The Harvest Days Kickstarter took place in summer 2021. At the end of the campaign 542 backers pledged €18,842 or roughly $21,200 USD. This funding level included the first stretch goal of minigames. Pre-alpha Kickstarter backers for received their keys last December.
Harvest Days is heading for Early Access next week on May 12, 2022, on Steam for Windows PC. Pre-alpha PC access is currently available for purchase from the game’s website for $34.99 USD. Players can add the game to their Steam wishlist now. For more information follow @harvestdaysgame on Twitter or visit harvestdaysgame.net.
