Gray Zone RTS Early Access in March

Self-publishing game developer EastWorks Studio has announced that their upcoming narrative driven tactical RTS, Gray Zone, enters early access in March 2020.

The public unveiling of Gray Zone comes after more than two years of development. Along with the announcement comes a reveal teaser where players find that the game combines the best elements of classic RTS with some RPG aspects, new physics, and hero customization to create a tactical shoot’em up experience.

In the narrative driven story, players will see the odyssey of a slave who turned against his masters. The story is set hundreds of years from now in the Milky Way galaxy. Along the journey players can expect to encounter memorable characters, entertaining dialog, and of course lots of action.

We’re really excited to be releasing our game via Steam’s Early Access. This project has meant a lot to us over the last two years of development and we believe our great passion for the strategy genre combined with our storytelling process will resonate with gamers from all walks of life.

All of the core game features are complete and will be included in the early access launch along with all voice-overs, cutscenes, dialogues, music, sound effects, and physics. The first five of seven game missions of the first chapter will be available at the start of early access. An update will appear a few months after with the last two missions following. In addition, the studio plans to be working on new content and game improvements during the early access period.

Gray Zone is scheduled for a March 2020 early access release on Steam priced at $19.99 USD. The latest information about Gray Zone can be found on the game’s website at grayzonegame.com or follow @grayzonegame on Twitter.
