Publisher Toplitz Productions and developer Don VS Dodo have released their business tycoon sim Industry Giant 4.0, into Early Access on Steam. The real time economic strategy simulation game challenges players to become an industry titan similar to that of John D. Rockefeller, Steve Jobs, or Jeff Bezos.
Inspired by the great business leaders of history, players will carve out a business empire of economic dominance. Big plans are necessary to create a big business. In Industry Giant 4.0, players can unleash their entrepreneurial skills while progressing a business strategy through varying dynamic challenges such as world events, climate regulations, and economic crises.
Build up a successful business empire through a variety of different industries. Mines, farms, manufacturing as well as raw materials, intermediate products, and end products are all available. There are dozens of industries to build and nearly 80 producible goods to manufacture.
A keen business mind is needed when examining the entirety of the industrial process. From the flow of goods to factory and warehouse efficiencies, players will need to look at every aspect to enhance productivity, flexibility, innovation, and resource efficiency. Transportation networks may need to be constructed for some goods. Production planning, financial management, and dynamic global events all can and more than likely will impact the bottom line. Players will need to be ready to adjust and tune their strategy accordingly.
With the Early Access release, the next development phase is now underway. One of the focal points for the developer is to gain community response and feedback. Over the course of the Early Access period, new content and additional gameplay features will be introduced while also honoring community requests and feedback.
An Early Access roadmap was provided detailing a four quarter timeline before the 1.0 game release. Q1 will focus on UI/UX improvements, stability, and shipping traffic. In Q2 players will have access to more charts, stats, and tables along with company philosophies, and random and historical events. The last two quarters will feature new achievements, improved modding, custom game modes, and multiplayer. During all quarters game balancing, new factories, production facilities, and goods, along with additional maps and scenarios will be a part of the ongoing changes to the game.
Industry Giant 4.0 Availability
Industry Giant 4.0 is available in Early Access on Windows PC via Steam for $24.99. A 20% discount is available until November 25, 2024. On Steam, players will also find additional bundles and the Digital Supporter Edition of the game that includes various extras. At this time there are no details or any announcements for a console edition of the game.
