Independent developer Rablo Games has released their colorful light-hearted creature collection RPG, Necro Story. Available on PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X/S, a release discount is available for Steam users. PlayStation 5 owners will have to wait a bit longer for the game’s release.
Step into the robes of a sort of evil necromancer who is more into undead shenanigans rather than saving the world. Have some light-hearted fun as Jaimus the Necromancer who is guided by the mischievous ghost named Vivi.
Raise skeleton armies, sign dark pacts with demons, and capture souls in this exciting journey to the underworld. Attention to detail is key. Master and cast over 20 powerful necromancy spells. There are five magical schools to explore: Affliction, Darkness, Life Drain, Summoning, and Dark Pacts. Each spell has its own skill tree, allowing customization of the necromancy gameplay experience.
Capture enemy souls and transform them into allies to further strengthen one’s undead army. Choose companions wisely. Equip companions with gear and manage their skills to maximize their potential and power. Transform allies into powerful demons or summon zombies to create an undead army worthy of leading Jaimus to victory in the auto-battler field of battle.
Necro Story Availability
Necro Story is available PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S for $14.99 with regional prices varying. A 15% launch discount on Steam will be available until October 14, 2024. The PlayStation 5 version has had a small delay and will arrive shortly with the date yet to be determined.
A PC demo for Necro Story is currently available on Steam. This demo was previously released ahead of this past June’s Steam Next Fest.
