V Publishing and developer Bad Ridge Games have revealed the development roadmap for their upcoming medieval fantasy life adventure sim, Mirthwood. The roadmap covers development plans following September game launch through Q2 2025.
Prior to the Mirthwood development roadmap release, post-launch plans for multiplayer support were revealed last month. Co-op multiplayer support is now planned for the Q2 2025 and onwards part of the roadmap. In November players can expect to see Update 1.2, the Death And Taxes Update. This content update will add new funeral events for recently deceased NPCs. New quests, ailments, and generated quests will be a part of this update.
Update 1.3, The Feast And Festivities Update, brings about that holiday cheer. Timed festivals will appear throughout the year in the game world. Seasonal content, Christmas, along with new world events, crops, cooking recipes, and Steam Deck verified support.
The new year will see The Baby Boom Update in Q1 2025. This update will include marriage and a dedicated ceremony. Players will then be able to have children with their spouse. At adulthood, players can choose to play as their child if they die. Inherited abilities can be passed on through DNA.
