Publisher Untold Tales and developer Kautki Cave have released version 1.0 of their action roguelite game Flame Keeper on PC. Nintendo Switch players will see the game exit Early Access in early July.
Life is the currency in this colorful dynamic action single player title. As Ignis, a special little piece of burning coal, players work to restore the Eternal Flame. Adding fire to the Eternal Flame drains life from Ignis. Players will need to find the right balance between staying alive while battling monsters, taking on the darkness, and restoring the Eternal Flame.
Learn from mistakes and dying. Adapt tactics, skills, and abilities to progress. Fight against hordes of enemies using a variety of attacks and moves such as combo punches, fiery dashes, and area-of-effect stomps. Use powerful finishers to deal destructive damage. Every biome features unique enemies and obstacles that increase in difficulty.
Upgrade skills and passive abilities. Customize Ignis to one’s own playstyle by mixing and matching skills in the same run to create different builds.
Find leftover energy to restore the Eternal Flame. Transfer the found energy remains into each stage’s Fire Camp. At the start of each level is Vulpis Village where players can rest, enhance abilities, rebuild and upgrade structures from collected resources, and prepare for the journey ahead to restore the Eternal Flame.
