Developer Milestone along with Feld Motor Sports, Inc. and publisher PLAION have released a new trailer for Monster Jam Showdown, ahead of the game’s late August release.
Featuring a larger-than-life motorsports experience, the Monster Jam Showdown trailer showcases fast-paced action and scenes of some of the most iconic Monster Jam trucks. The trailer offers a brief glimpse into the adrenaline-filled game world that is headed to PC and consoles.
Go big or don’t even bother getting behind the wheel. The trailer shows off Freestyle game mode where players can perform a variety of spectacular monster truck tricks. Dedicated tutorials help both rookies and experts master the extreme stunts, including wheelies, donuts, and bicycles.
All the action takes place inside stadiums based on real venues and in themed environments inspired by the great American outdoors. Off-Road Races bring out the arcade soul of the game. Items such as boost, destructible objects, crazy track designs, and extreme weather conditions help create exciting and unpredictable scenarios. In total there are eight different game modes across three original biomes inspired by the wilds of Death Valley, Colorado, and Alaska.
Split-screen allows competitive fans to prove themselves against one another. From thrilling duels with family and friends to online-only events there are plenty of chances to showoff one’s monster truck racing capability.
Monster Jam Showdown Availability
Monster Jam Showdown has a planned release date for August 29, 2024, and will launch on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Early Access will be available on August 26, 2024. Pre-orders are available now from the game’s website.
