Deck13 Spotlight and developer FourExo Entertainment have fully released their modern city builder, Highrise City, on PC.
After nearly two years in Early Access development, Highrise City is ready for players to create megacities with millions of citizens. These massive megacities can be as big as 194 square kilometers each with 50 different resources available.
Nearly every aspect of the original Early Access release has seen some form of change. From the UI to complex resource systems, the release update gives the community a competent city builder with economic simulation elements.
Players have total control. Build a strong power grid by placing lines and substations throughout the city. Manage traffic issues through creative use of public transportation buses and line placements. Mayors will need to address issues such as hazardous waste while meeting the needs of citizens via Shopping Malls late-game mega skyscrapers.
Both beginners and advanced players can enjoy the game at their experience level with adjustable difficulty levels. Those who manage to build a multi-staged space port will unlock New Game+ content with alternate building modes for experienced players. Full mod support enables players to implement their own buildings or change the whole balancing scheme to create their ideal megacity.
