Team17 Digital and developer Small Impact Games have released the Plunder Update for their Early Access PvPvE hardcore looter shooter, Marauders. In addition, a free Steam weekend event, Twitch drops, and a large game discount are now underway.
This past week, the Plunder Update released as the fourth free major content update for Marauders. Players can now jump into a brand-new solos only Raider Mode where six other players, disguised as raiders, will begin the match with a basic loadout. Time is crucial as the player will need to hunt for new loot while keeping an eye on their remaining oxygen.
Introducing XP through PvP kills, this new mode adds a new enemy to the standard mode, The Bandit. This new enemy is a loot goblin which players can track to common loot stashes found at certain raid locations such as the Spaceport, Mining Frigate, Terraformer, and Asteroid Mine.
The Plunder Update includes a usuable shooting range in Navy Outpost, new Zero to Hero missions, art updates, balancing changes, AI updates, UI updates, sound improvements, Polish and Turkish translations, and numerous bug fixes. A more complete list of changes is available here on Steam.
