Mimimi Games have announced prices for their upcoming self-published stealth strategy game, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew. The game has officially gone gold and with the price announcement also comes a Supporter Edition reveal.
It’s official, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew has went gold. The developers have even posed for a Gold Master group photo ahead of the game’s August 17 release.
In addition, the developer released pricing information for the game, information about a Supporter Edition, Original Game Soundtrack, and the Artbook & Strategy Guide. The Original Game Soundtrack features 60 captivating tracks in FLAC and MP3 formats with over 2.5 hours of music composed by Filippo Beck Peccoz who is known for his previous work on Shadow Tactics and Desperados III. Available in English only, the Artbook & Strategy Guide is two books in one and features early concept art and a comprehensive player guide with helpful strategies.
Both game editions along with the soundtrack and artbook will be available at different price points. Global pricing information is available in the list below.
Previously, a playable Steam demo for Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew was made available during Steam Next Fest this past June and then again in July. During the Steam Next Fest event, the game reached 19 out of the 50 most-played demos. Mimimi Games is also heading to gamescom 2023 and will be bringing the game to their booth where attendees can check it out and have a chat.
Gameplay Details
Gameplay follows The Red Marley’s cursed pirate crew as they hunt for a mysterious treasure from the legendary Captain Mordechai. Set in an alternate Golden Age of Piracy in the Lost Caribbean, the pirates operate from The Red Marley, a ship with a living soul.
Each crewmate has a unique supernatural power. Last March, the developer introduced several members of the cursed crew in the Characters Trailer. The list of crewmembers include the lethal ship navigator Afia Manicato, Gaëlle le Bris with a magical cannon, Mr. Mercury the jokester with his pet fish companion Sir Reginald, and ship cook and ninja assassin Toya of Iga.

Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew releases on PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store as well as Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on August 17, 2023. The base game is priced at $39.99 / €39.99. A Supporter Edition that includes the base game, Original Game Soundtrack, and the Artbook & Strategy Guide will be priced at $49.99 / €49.99. Both the the Original Game Soundtrack and Artbook & Strategy Guide are available separately for $9.99 / €9.99 and $4.99 / €4.99 respectively.
