PM Studios and Pathea Games have announced a July release date for their charming low-poly school management sim game, Let’s School. This upcoming colorful and cozy indie title comes from the same studio behind My Time at Portia and My Time at Sandrock.
Stepping into the role of principal, players are able to build their own school grounds. Through campus renovations, starting clubs, and creating campus life, players can create a thriving learning environment of their dreams. A range of customization options grant players many degrees of freedom in their campus creation. For example, students can be required to participate in extracurricular activities or school uniforms can be designed to reflect a player’s favorite anime.
As the principal, players have free reign over the school’s direction and development. Will the school become a rigorous elite academy or a carefree comprehensive school?
If a good learning environment is the desired outcome, players can arrange various courses and use special measures to manage student behavior. An example is using teachers to catch students who openly skip classes and mess around in town. The choices are up to the player as they manage the campus.
With progression, more campus content becomes available. Players can build dormitories, cafeterias, sports fields, and snack shops for the student population. There are even “wonders” that can be build within the campus. Players are encouraged to unleash their wild imagination and create a unique campus landscape as the game’s name suggests.
