Danish game developer Bolverk Games have announced a permanent Steam price reduction for their 3D platformer Glyph. The 50% permanent price reduction comes after a one-week-long 90% off sale.
A year after Glyph’s launch, sales of the title hit a near standstill this past summer. The developer, Bolverk Games, announced massive 90% discount week. Now that the sale has ended, the developer has went on to permanently reduce the game’s price from $19.99 to $9.99 on Steam.
The developer extends its thanks via email to reviewers and others who helped bring attention to the sale and expresses gratitude to them and new players. In the email Bolverk Games went on to state their “Thanks to you and the players, the Glyph sale has exceeded all of our expectations. The sales numbers outperform even the game’s launch in 2021. We have been on the edges of our seats with excitement all week.”
In addition a short video with one of the game’s characters, Anobi, saying thank you was released on YouTube.
Since the game’s August 2021 release, Glyph commands a “Very Positive” rating on Steam with a a 100% “Very Positive” rating with user reviews in the last 30 days. In the same month, Nano Gaming News reviewed Glyph giving the title a 9.5 out of 10 for it being a colorfully fun, challenging, rewarding, and original puzzle platformer.
