Hell Pie 3D Platformer is Served Hot on PC and Consoles

Headup and independent developer Sluggerfly today released the obscene 3D platformer, Hell Pie, on Windows PC and consoles. Inspired by old-school 3D platformers, this game takes bad taste to the next level with unbelievable environments, disgusting characters, and loads of grappling fun.

In Hell Pie, players find themselves controlling Nate, the ‘Demon of Bad Taste’, who is on mission for the devil. The task at hand is to venture out into the overworld and gather all the necessary ingredients for Satan’s infamous birthday pie.

To aid Nate in his task, his so-called pet angel Nugget is ready to offer support. Nugget’s holy insight is offered when needed, however, this is secondary to his real usefulness. Being chained to Nate, allows Nugget to be used as a grappling hook or swung around as a whirling weapon.

We’re really excited that Hell Pie is finally available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. We’ve had a lot of fun throwing our love of classic 3D platforming and our brand of silly and obscene humor into the pot and stirring it all up and now it’s time for players to give it a taste!

Christian Patorra, CEO, Sluggerfly

Together the duo will traverse various wild and strange environments and met loads of repugnant characters and enemies. In fact, one might see some twisted and shocking sights that are plays on the classic mascot platformer.

Besides gathering all the ingredients for the hellish pie, various horns can be found in the overworld. Equipping these horns will grant Nate new hellish feats such as the ability to glide through air or charge through enemies and boulders. Now matter what happens, players can be certain that if all the ingredients are gathered in time there will be hell to pay!

Hell Pie is out now on Windows PC via Humble Bundle, GOG, Steam, and Epic Games Store for $24.99/£19.99/€24.99. Console versions for PS5 and PS4 from the PlayStation Store and Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One from Microsoft are available for $24.99/£19.99/€24.99. The Nintendo Switch version will be launching in the coming weeks. Visit sluggerfly.com/hellpie for more information.
