Iceberg Interactive and developer Bad Viking are launching their plant-based puzzle game, Strange Horticulture, on Nintendo Switch with pre-orders available now.
Collecting and cataloguing powerful and strange plants is just the beginning of the story in Strange Horticulture. As the owner of a local plant shop in the quaint town of Undermere, players will venture to the surrounding rugged mountains and hag-infested forests to collect new plant specimens. Using their horticulture skills, players will need to identify, collect, and catalogue powerful new plants.
Undermere includes an interesting cast of characters who will frequent the shop. Their visits will reveal an occult mystery reaching back through the centuries. When out exploring the dangerous surroundings, players will need to use context clues to determine where to go and where to avoid. While out exploring just be sure to not lose one’s mind and while in town mind the cat.
The independent developer’s game received an IGF nomination for its design. Strange Horticulture launched on PC this past January.
