YOLKED Patch 0.8 Extends Attic Level, Adds New Collectibles

Indie game developer Hardboiled Studios are busy working on their early access platformer, YOLKED – The Egg Game, with the release of Patch 0.8. In this latest update the developer isn’t afraid to break open a few eggs with the extension of the Attic Level and new collectibles.

The final stage is now in the game. Speedrunners and adventurers can enjoy the last section of the Attic Level. Players are advised to stay tuned for the game’s official release for the next level to explore.

Two new particle collectibles are stinking up the place: Rotten Particle and Rotten Eggstreme Particle. A Lava Skin collectible is now available along with two new costumes to collect: Stabbed and Avocado.

This update includes a few minor bug fixes and adjustments. Changes of note include the addition of needle obstacles to the Attic Lab section and more obstacles to the Attic Bookshelf section. A more complete list of changes in YOLKED – The Egg Game‘s Patch 0.8 can be found on Steam here.

Obstacles are everywhere and players will want to use the power of kinetic physics to swing their way across levels without cracking up. Along the way there are a variety of collectibles such as different costumes to find and collect. Speedrunners can take on the various levels which feature multiple routes with different times. In the end it is all about the great egg-scape!
