Whitemoon Games has announced the release date for Broken Ranks, the turn-based combat MMORPG successor to The Pride of Taern. Servers officially launch on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 8 AM PST, 11 AM EST, 4 PM GMT.
Featuring a unique turn-based combat system and a vast world seen from an isometric vantage point, Broken Ranks, brings an update look to the world of Taern with all new content. The game is evocative of classics such as Baldur’s Gate and the Heroes of Might and Magic series. Upon entering the game, players will find a world waiting to be explored alone or in a group that is filled with story-driven quests and lots of wonder.
Closed and open beta testing took place throughout 2021 for Broken Ranks. During this the team also gained important knowledge about the interested player base which leads to the game at release supporting English, Polish, Russian, German, French, and Portuguese localizations. The developers have indicated that more language versions may become available in the future.
It’s the last lap before we let our players play the game. We’re very excited about the release and we’re doing everything we can to tie up the loose ends. We hope that Broken Ranks will give new and old players alike many hours of fun as they become immersed in the world we created.
