NARAKA: BLADEPOINT World Championship Announced for 2022

Chinese game developer 24 Entertainment announced that the inaugural NARAKA: BLADEPOINT World Championship (NBWC) will be held early next year. At a yet to be announced location, the NWBC will be the first official offline tournament where the world’s best Trios teams battle each other for their regional glory and their share of a $1.5 million prize pool.

Forerunners from all servers including: China, Europe, North America, South East Asia and Asia, have the opportunity to qualify. Teams will do so through one of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT’s official tournaments that include the Morus Cup for North America and the South East Asia Celestra cup. More chances to qualify for players in Europe, Japan, Korea, and HMT regions will be announced in the near future.

To get an invite to the NWBC teams will need to be the best. At the end of the NBWC there will be only one team at the top to be crowned NARAKA: BLADEPOINT World Champions.

For those unfamiliar NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, the game is a 60-player battle royale experience for PC. Blending brutal melee combat and fluid movement by means of grappling and parkour creates matches that are both exciting and intense. The combat action is mythical with martial arts inspiration with vast arsenals of melee and ranged weapons for the legendary and customizable heroes inspired by legends of the Far East.

NARAKA: BLADEPOINT is available on Windows PC through Steam for $19.99 USD for the base game. A Deluxe Edition and an Asura Edition are available at $34.99 USD each while the Ultimate Edition is available for $49.99 USD.
