Deck13 Spotlight and developer Red Koi Box have launched their first-person story-driven interstellar puzzle adventure Faraday Protocol on both PC and consoles. Set aboard the mysterious Space Station OPIS, players will explore what events took place on the Art Deco stylized station and its mysterious AI.
In the role of interstellar archaeologist Raug Zeekon, players find themselves sent on a quest to explore the mysterious signal coming from an unexplored star system. In the system the space station OPIS is discovered. Now one has to wonder what happened on the station and what is the role of the AI IRIS?
Using an alien utility item, Bia-Tool, players can absorb certain forms of energy. The absorbed energy can later be used to activate and manipulate machinery on the space station. For example orange energy can activate and deactivate power lines. Blue energy allows one to bridge or re-route power lines.
Inside and outside the station various 3D puzzles will challenge the interstellar archaeologist. In order to keep exploring one will need to solve these intricate puzzles by redistributing the various energies. As one explores more secrets and questions are revealed. In the end will the archaeologist be able to uncover secrets that have been lost for a millenia.
Faraday Protocol is available on Windows PC through Steam and GOG for $19.99 USD. A 10% off launch discount promotion runs until August 19, 2021.
