Render Cube and Toplitz Productions released Update #5 for Medieval Dynasty that adds relationships, shops, vendors, a wild animal, and so much more. The update, also called Shop and Flirt, for Medieval Dynasty continues the developer’s hard work and dedication in expanding the 3D medieval survival RPG simulation during its early access development phase.
Relationships and flirting is one of the core components of this update. Players now have access to verbal opportunities to win the heart of a mate. From compliments to poetry and the occasional joke, players can use them to attract the attention of a certain special someone. To help bolster their chances, players can give a gift from exotic goods vendors that will steal their heart. As one gains experience, more options become available. There is even a new cutscene for those who end up getting wed.
Shops are vendors are another core component of the update. Market stalls allow players to set up shop and sell goods of their choice. Villagers can be assigned to run the stall when players are needed elsewhere so that the money can keep on flowing.
The lynx is a new wild animal that can be found in the forests. While cute, these predators are dangerous with sharp claws. In addition, lynx like to run off with livestock. To keep the lynx in check and at bay a new wooden cross bow has been added.
Besides several new dialogues for NPCs there are also new greeting dialogues. Fields, orchards, and buildings can be named. There are now hover effects on clickable UI elements. Several sounds and animations have been updated. The patch also contains a wide range of bug fixes and quality of life updates. Medieval Dynasty is now available in early access on Windows PC through Humble Bundle or Steam for $29.99 USD.
