A new competitive multiplayer 4 vs 4 tower defense arena title, Skydome, is heading to closed beta soon and players can now sign up for a chance at the action. Developed by Kinship Entertainment and being published by gamigo in Europe and North America, Skydome offers a seamless blend between the MOBA and tower defense genre creating a unique gaming experience.
Created by an ancient people, the Skydome is a temple floating high in the skies. From this temple champions are sent out to fight armies and monsters across the universe. Using their own individual strategies and skills, champions will create defenses and towers to dominate the battle arena. Every champion is unique. This gives players the opportunity to explore new abilities, defense towers, and strategies for each champion.
Each match is designed to be fast-paced 3D isometric action. Every twist and turn of a match can bring thrilling challenges and new surprises. Players can pick their playstyle and develop their own strategies in teams of four or run straight into battle head on through special intervention skills that sabotage opponents. To become the ultimate champion of the battle arena one will want to utilize and master death mazes, magic portals, and time manipulation.
There is a diverse roster of Champions for players to pick. In the battle arena players can deploy walls and towers to fortify their map while using intervention skills to sabotage opponent’s defenses. MOBA-style jungle areas have unique boss monsters. The invasion system sends waves of monsters into one’s territory which can be defeated by utilizing buffs, extra troops and more. At release there will be a seasonal ranking system.
The first map, The Dawn Temple, requires heroes to join forces and face down countless waves of mighty enemies. Skirmishers, Guardians, Hunters and other champions will participate in a fight between the Sun and the Moon with the outcome deciding who should reign supreme.
