Void Interactive has entered into a partnership with Team17 that will see the studio’s debut title, Ready or Not, launch under the independent games label. Ready or Not is a tactical shooter where players act as elite operatives who diffuse hostile situations.
Void Interactive are a hugely ambitious studio, and Ready or Not is an equally ambitious game. We’re very excited to work on the title, it fits within our broad stable of more mature titles, and we’re looking forward to working with Void as they look to deliver a truly engaging, squad-based tactical shooter.

The game will feature tactical teamwork situations where breaching, clearing and engaging in stealth are critical to success. Players will plan their attack approach with strategic equipment loadouts and command a squad of operatives on the mission. One will need to ensure each danger and every threat is dealt with swiftly and safely.
Each decision can have a dramatic impact on the mission where using non-lethal options can allow for arrests and the saving of civilians. Every shot will have to be considered as a single errant bullet can take the life of a civilian. It is the goal of the player to limit collateral damage while still eliminating threats.
Guns are a staple of the tactical shooter genre. This game features realism at its core from bullet penetration to team communication in realistic non-military combat situations. In reality there are additional tools to handle these situations and in game players are provided them with items such as riot shields, mirror guns, and smoke grenades.
We’ve been working hard to make Ready or Not an immersive and engaging tactical shooter, and have already attracted a keen and excited community around the title. We’re thrilled that Team17 shares the same passion and ambitions for the game as we do, and we’re already working together to deliver an immersive and adrenalined-fueled experience.
