Render Cube and Toplitz Productions have released Update #3 for Medieval Dynasty that adds bees, trees, alcohol, pottery, and new food. Plus there are a whole list of other changes for those daring to participate in the early access adventure set in a time long ago.
The air is filled with a buzzing sound and that is because bees have been added to Medieval Dynasty. Players can now build apiaries in their village and show off those beekeeping skills. Beekeepers can collect the highly valuable commodity of honey which will help create honeycomb, More importantly this also allows for the production of mead also known as the nectar of the gods.
A new field type, the Orchard, is available for trees and plants. Apples, cherries, plums, hops, and more can be planted in the Orchard. The wide variety of trees and their fruits may offer a tasty snack, but they call also be turned into alcohol. With the newly added Brewing Station and Wine Barrels, players can turn their harvest into beer, wine, ciders, and juices. The final product can be used by the player and their people or it can be sold off for a mighty profit. A word of advice for players, if one does consume their product, don’t drink it all as there might be some consequences the next day.
New buildings are abundant in Update #3 for Medieval Dynasty. Besides the previously mentioned new buildings, the Workshop has been added. This building features places for workbenches where the player or skilled craftsmen can make, create, and operate the brewing stations, wine barrels, and manufacture clay pots and bottles using the Pottery Wheel. Juices, the non-alcoholic type, can be made using the Juice Press. The Workshop offers a place to make and create goods that most would deem necessary for a thriving medieval community.
More food options are available for one’s villagers. There are different types of porridges, tarts, rolls, eggs, and soups available for consumption. A total of eight new talents have been added for Farming, Extraction, Survival, Hunting, and Diplomacy. The building limit has been increased and there are new animations. A more complete list of changes in Update #3 for Medieval Dynasty can be found here.
