Wired Productions and developer Tomas Sala have announced that the Xbox Series X pre-order for The Falconeer Day One Edition are available and released a brand new trailer. The trailer for their airborne ocean-world fantasy RPG gives glimpses into the various factions that live in and on nearly infinite body of water called The Great Ursee.
In the game players will support their chosen faction from the back of their mighty warbird. Each mission will shape the fate of not only their faction, but The Great Ursee itself.
Four factions dominate the world. The Northern Imperium is the great power with the Imperial throne commanding the Northern Ursee through nobility, subterfuge and manipulation. The Mancer Order are master scholars of The Order and control access to technology while guiding all progress towards an unknown goal called The Path.
The Civilian Freehouses are an independent and loosely aligned group of communities united in defense of local trade who are also subject to both the Imperium and Mancer Order. The Freebooter Rebellion is a group comprised of those who were once banished that now have returned with ancient knowledge to create carnage for those who have wronged them.
I wanted the world of the Ursee to feel tangible, not just visually but with history and conflict you get to experience. It’s never immediately clear who is a ‘good guy’ or a ‘bad guy’. I hope players get to experience The Falconeer as a journey of discovery, unlocking the secrets of The Great Ursee and its people as they play.
