Lost Robots has released the first major update for Terraforming Earth with the free Drone Danger DLC update that is available on Steam. Cargo drones are now available for the early access roguelite side-scrolling puzzle platformer.
In the free DLC update, cargo drones are introduced. They are flying robots that are dangerous to hang around, but can be used to solve puzzles. This update brings even trickier puzzles that need time to think through for the solution, but bad things are chasing the player so there is no time to think.
The game is set in the distant future after humankind’s extinction. In an effort to bring back humanity, a player controls three robots with different abilities that work in conjunction with each other to solve the AI-generated levels. Along the journey there will be difficult and challenging puzzles, tricky situations, and lots of funny ways to die. Both single player and local co-op modes are available along with full controller support.
Terraforming Earth is available as an early access game for Windows or Mac on Steam priced at $29.99 USD. The game is also available at Itch.io.
