Indie development studio A-Line Games has released the first details and a trailer for agent sim Actor Tycoon 2. The game is a sequel to the mobile hit Actor Tycoon that explored the adventures and misfortunes of running a talent agency.
As a head of one’s own talent agency players will have the opportunity to build their business from the ground up. From scouting talented actors to finding them the best roles there is a lot to take care of in order to win top industry awards. Reputation in the film industry is key while also offering opportunities to mingle with the stars and enjoy the glamourous lifestyle as an agent of the stars.
Players will take an unknown actor and make them into a world famous star. When scouting for actors one should be warned that they will have peculiar personalities and unique quirks. These actor features will lead to surprising, sometimes funny, and very random events that may require intervention to save the actor from trouble. Naturally one will want to negotiate lucrative contracts and commissions.
With time and effort the business will expand which unlocks new skills. The location of the business will also allow for specialization in film, TV and theater making each gameplay different.
A release date has yet to be set for Actor Tycoon 2. However, this sequel is jumping from mobile to PC. The platform change allows for a much more expanded gameplay with new features and options in addition to an increase in overall quality. Players will be able to create their own custom actors, random events and other tweaks as the game offers full modding support.
