Publisher Toplitz Productions and developer Mehuman Games have revealed an updated revamped look and a new name for their upcoming story-driven sandbox action adventure, Vampires: Bloodlord Rising.
Previously known as Vampire Dynasty, the updated Vampires: Bloodlord Rising game is showcased in a new Dragos Gameplay Trailer. With updated game visuals, upgraded character design, and other enhancements, the game’s characters are brought to life in the new trailer and mysterious world of Sangavia.
The deeper we went into the development, the more it became clear to us, that the content with its story focus and the strong implementation of action-adventure elements doesn’t cater to the expectations neither players nor ourselves have of a Dynasty game. While we remain committed to the quality of the content and the gamedesign and didn’t change any of these elements, with the new name it is clear that these vampires are not standing on anybody’s shoulders and will fight for their rightful place in the open world of Sangavia.

Since the game’s last seen public showings during last October’s Indie Horror Showcase or a limited-time demo released during Steam Next Fest June 2024, all areas of the game have seen some sort of progress. Most noticeably is the updated look of Dragos, the game’s main vampire protagonist. His appearance includes a complete attire overhaul and is now more virile and haunting. The previously seen flowing locks and beard has been replaced with a more chiseled clean cut look, showing off Dragos’ fearsome features.
Other design changes include visual improvements to various materials and textures. Building elements used in castle design are included in these visual updates. An improved lighting system has been introduced. The onscreen UI system has been totally overhauled. Level appearance has seen visual improvements, including smaller details such as grass, water, and fog behavior.
Managing subjects have expanded. Players will now be able to romance transformed vampires, send them to hunt, and even perform powerful rituals. Character development is shaped by their choices of being on a good or evil path. These choices will even influence how Dragos’ facial features evolve.
