Publisher astragon Entertainment and German developer Aesir Interactive have announced that the new Highway Patrol Expansion for Police Simulator: Patrol Officers is coming this summer. In addition, a new Gold Edition of the game has been announced which includes the base game, the Garage Bundle, and the Highway Patrol Expansion.
Extending beyond Brighton’s borders are roadways of the Brighton highway district. As a highway patrol officer, players will have new tasks such as high-speed monitoring, cargo checks on trucks, and highway assistance to handle. For example when responding to a highway accident, players must be ready to tackle fires at the scene with fire extinguishers.
With an open highway system, new challenges will emerge. Surging car thefts, thrilling vehicle chases, and tactical maneuvers to name a few. Utilize new spike strips and roadblocks to stop fleeing criminals. These new tools are even more helpful with two players in multiplayer mode.
To further aid highway patrol officers in their duty, two new vehicles are available: Interstate Police Vehicle and Endurance Police Vehicle. The Interstate Police Vehicle enables officers to perform their duties using a vehicle with a vintage style. For fleeing vehicles, the heavy-duty Endurance Police Vehicle will answer the call to service to stop these criminals on the run.

Visitors at this year’s PAX East event in Boston, Massachusetts, will have the opportunity to test the game’s expansion out at the astragon Entertainment booth (booth 16105) from March 21 to March 24. On March 23 at 4 PM EDT, key features of the expansion will be presented in detail at the astragon PAX Showcase panel. Hosted by simulation content creator Raptor, the event will be broadcasted live from the Boston Satellite Theatre. The event will also be streamed via Raptor’s YouTube channel and on the official PAX Twitch channel.

The Police Simulator: Patrol Officers: Highway Patrol Expansion will be available in summer 2024 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S for $19.99 / €19.99.
New players will want to watch out for the Gold Edition release in summer 2024 which will include the main game, the Garage Bundle and the Highway Patrol Expansion. The Police Simulator: Patrol Officers Gold Edition will be available digitally on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S for $39.99 / €39.99.
