Untold Tales and Polish developer Purple Ray Studio have released their cooperative 3D platformer, Boti: Byteland Overclocked, on Steam. Other platforms will follow next year.
In a vibrant world filled with bits and bytes, Boti: Byteland Overclocked take players on a light-hearted old-school 3D platforming robot adventure. A brand new launch trailer introduces views to the realm of Byteland and Boti the robot.
Boti is a cute robot with a retro tube screen face. One and Zero, are two floating binary robot friends that tag along with Boti during the adventure. Classic platforming moves such as double jump, dash, hover, and glide are available while exploring.
Move blocks to create platforms for movement using the power of magnetism. Use the same power to tackle brain-teasing puzzles. Hit all the right notes on musical slides and compose a musical crescendo.
Players can play solo or team-up with a friend in co-op mode. Seamlessly shift between solo and duo modes in gameplay that adapts to the binary rhythm of two-player camaraderie or reverts a solo campaign.
Have a chat with the robot friends and collect hidden items. Exploring the far corners of the futuristic levels is required to find all of these hidden items. A variety of skins for Boti can be seen in the launch trailer that range from the colorfully vibrant to the outright comical.
Boti: Byteland Overclocked Availability
Boti: Byteland Overclocked is available on Windows PC via Steam for $19.99. A limited time 20% off discount is available until September 24, 2023. The game is also available in various bundles with other titles on Steam at varying discounts. Console versions are to follow in early 2024.
